As Hôtel Shediac welcomes you back, we are committed to offering a safe and memorable experience to our guests during these exceptional times. We’ve enhanced our cleaning standards to align with expert protocols, working to defeat Covid-19 to ensuring the safety of our guests and employees.
What we are doing…
In order to follow social distancing protocols, all high traffic areas such as common spaces of the hotel, our bistro and lounge now have hand sanitizing stations and signage throughout as recommended by our health and government officials. Our staff are responsively working hard by frequently sanitizing all surfaces with Health Canada approved disinfectants.
Our pool area and gym facilities
Pool towels and water coolers have been removed in our pool and gym areas as a precaution to your health and safety. We ask that you bring your own while travelling. There will be a reduced maximum number of people permitted in these areas to follow appropriate social distancing protocols.
Our dining areas
All dining areas have reduced seating capacity and our staff are trained on safe food preparation and service practices. When social distancing is not possible, we are dedicated in keeping you safe by wearing all necessary PPE. We have also increased our already extensive cleaning procedures to sanitize all surfaces frequently.
Our cancellation policy for guestroom reservations
Hôtel Shediac is committed to ensuring our guests experience flexibility during these challenging times.
Modifications will be permitted without penalty for guests with existing reservations, including pre-paid reservations with restrictions up to 24 hours prior to arrival date as long as the border restrictions are still in effect. Changes to existing reservations will be subject to availability and any rate differences.
Guests who have booked via online through a travel agent, or any other third-party company are advised to contact their booking provider directly for further information.
