Welcome to www.hotelshediac.ca This page explains the Terms and Conditions for Hotel Shediac’s (HS) property (PROPERTY), guest services (SERVICES), and its related website (WEBSITE) located at www.hotelshediac.ca

Users (USERS) of Hotel Shediac SERVICES agree to be bound by this Agreement (AGREEMENT) and the Hotel Shediac Privacy Policy.

2.0 Check in / out

  • Check-in time begins at 4PM (Credit card deposit will be applied)
  • Check-in out time ends at 11AM
 

3.0 Cancellations and refunds

  • Cancellations are permitted free of charge up till 24hrs before the arrival date.
  • In the event of a cancellation within 24 hours of arrival date, or a no-show, a fee of one night’s room charge will be charged to the credit card provided at the time of booking.
 

4.0 Accessibility

  • The Property features a range of thoughtful features & amenities designed to better accommodate guests with mobility or visual impairments, including two well-appointed Accessible Studios.
  • We regret that we cannot provide individual assistance to guests for their mobility, or other personal needs, therefore a physically able companion must accompany guests who need such assistance and assume full responsibility for their well-being.
 

5.0 Allergies

  • If you have any allergies, sensitivities or intolerance to, but not limited to: a particular fabric, material, cleaning product or food, it is the guests responsibility to advise Property management prior to arrival.
 

6.0 Valuables

  • Your valuables can be stored in a safety deposit box in your room or the Property can store your valuables upon request. The Property is entitled to collect a charge for storage of these items.
  • In case the items you wish to store are exceptionally valuable, please notify and get approval from the Property beforehand.
  • Property takes no responsibility for any personal possessions that are lost, stolen or misplaced whilst on the premises due to the acts and omissions of the guests themselves.
  • Lost property found on the premises is logged and kept in a secure location. Thereafter items are either disposed of or donated to charity. The Property accepts no responsibility for contacting individuals in relation to lost property. Perishable items retrieved from rooms after check out are only held until close of business that day.
  • Claimed items can be collected from the Property with valid identification or alternatively the Property can arrange postage on behalf of the guest at their expense.
 

7.0 Gatherings

  • No gatherings and parties of any nature are allowed in guest rooms. The Property reserves the right to evict any additional occupants in the room.
 

8.0 Pets

  • We are a pet-friendly hotel and offer a limited number of pet-friendly (Standard) rooms
  • A $75 cleaning deposit shall be collected at time of check-in.
  • Owners are solely responsible for cleaning up after their pets.
  • Pets are not permitted on the bed or the furnishings otherwise all or part of the deposit can be withheld for additional cleaning.
  • Cleaning deposit is fully refundable after a successful room inspection.
  • Pets must be kept on a leash at all times in public areas inside as well as outside the hotel.
  • Pets are not permitted in guest rooms that are not designed as pet-friendly, as well as pool, fitness, meeting, and eating areas.
  • It is strictly prohibited for pets to stay in rooms that are not designated as pet-friendly. If a guest stays with a pet in a non pet-friendly room, a $300 cleaning surcharge shall be levied to their room account.
  • Owners are asked to walk their pets away from the hotel
  • Pets must be removed prior to housekeeping service entering. Please arrange a convenient time with the front desk when you will be out of the room with your pet(s) so that your room can be serviced.
  • Pet(s) may be left unattended, however, if you are leaving the premises of the hotel with your pet unattended, the pet must be in a crate or pet carrier while you are gone. In such cases, the front desk must have a cellular or contact number to reach you in case of potential disturbances.
  • The Property cannot provide feeding or pet-sitting services.
  • Pets are NOT to be bathed in the guest room bathrooms.
  • Cat litter must not be disposed of in the guest room toilet.
  • It is the sole responsibility of the owner to ensure that their pet does not cause any disturbance or harm to other guests, staff, or other animals.
  • Hotel Shediac reserves the right to deny check-in to any pet that poses a threat to the safety or well-being of guests, staff, or other animals.
  • Hotel shall not be responsible for any illness, loss or damage, however caused to any pet.
 

9.0 General provisions

  • Reservations are non-transferable.
  • By proceeding with a reservation, you further agree and acknowledge that if the reservation is accepted by the Property, your stay subsequently shall be subject to these Terms and Conditions, which shall constitute the binding agreement between yourself and the Property in relation to any and all commercial arrangements including reservation, stay, payment, usage of facilities, etc. of whatsoever nature.
  • The Property may, at its absolute discretion, cancel the reservation if the Property is of the opinion that the reservation information provided is falsified or incomplete.
  • You shall indemnify and hold the Property harmless in respect of any liability, loss, damage, cost and expense of any nature arising out of, and/or in connection with the acceptance of the reservation and your stay in the Property.
  • The Property shall not be liable for any losses, damages, costs or expenses incurred by you as a result of any cancellation of the reservation by the Property.
  • The Property does not accept any liability for any failure by the Property to comply with these conditions where such failure is due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
  • The Property reserves the right to send guests away from the Property due to their conduct and behavior or for any other safety, security, or medical reasons. This applies in particular, if Guests do not observe instructions given by Property employees, express themselves in a discriminating manner, harass or endanger other guests.
  • All the assets and valuables of the Property should be duly maintained adequately and should not be damaged or destroyed. The Property has the discretion to levy any charges in future if it is proven beyond doubt that such damage/destruction to the asset of the Property (both movable and immovable) have been done or caused by a Guest.
 

10.0 Reservation of rights

  • The Property shall be entitled to vary, amend and/or otherwise change these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
